Today, we celebrate. Not just the years, but the people, the values, the vision.
November 6, 2025

Hillcrest Kindergarten has been part of the Kaikohe community since 1955, providing an inclusive and culturally diverse environment where tamariki and whānau feel welcomed, respected, and supported.
He wāhi manaaki tēnei mō tātou katoa.
What we offer:
Our programme is woven within the principals and strands of Te Whāriki, the Early Childhood Curriculum He Whaariki Matauranga mo nga Mokopuna o Aotearoa.
We support children to learn through play, curiosity, and experiences that build confidence and a love of learning.
We have four qualified and registered teachers, and a dedicated administrative staff member, who is also our cook. We value whanaungatanga, creating strong relationships with tamariki, whānau, and the wider community.
Kai is an important part of our kindergarten day, with morning tea and cooked lunches provided for all tamariki through our KidsCan partnership.
Sharing meals together helps foster a caring environment where children feel nurtured, connected, and supported to thrive.
We welcome all whānau to come and visit and become part of our kindergarten community.
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 2.30pm
We are FEES FREE!
