Northland Kindergarten Association (NKA) is seeking an inspiring and reflective teacher to join the team at Raumanga Kindergarten, Whangarei.
The kaupapa of Raumanga kindergarten invites whānau and tamariki to be part of a collective culture of empowerment. The Kaiako have a strong commitment to Te Tiriti O Waitangi as they consider a Te Ao Māori approach and practices to be a strength within the team. Cultural competence is key as Raumanga Kindergarten supports high numbers of Maori and Pasifika whanau.

Primary Objective
To assist teaching staff in achieving the association goals of providing quality Early Childhood Education by providing administrative support to the kindergarten team of staff.
Northland Kindergarten Association (NKA) is seeking an inspired and dedicated teacher to join the four-teacher team at Hikurangi Kindergarten, Whangārei. This 20-hour per week position, will have varying daily hours beginning 15 July 2025.
Hikurangi Kindergarten is situated in the settlement of Hikurangi about a ten-minute drive north of Whangārei. Tamariki attend from both the local community and surrounding rural and coastal areas. The kindergarten operates five 6-hour sessions Monday to Friday catering for 30 children between two and six years of age.
