Northland Kindergarten Association is seeking a passionate teacher (kaiako) to join the teaching team at Te Timatatanga o Te Mātauranga Kindergarten, Otangarei. This 20-hour position has varying hours and for the right applicant, the possibility for up to 10 extra hours. The position begins January 19, 2026.
This is an opportunity to work amongst a close-knit team dedicated to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and up-holding tamariki Māori learning success. The collective pedagogical approach is grounded in manaakitanga, whakawhanaungatanga, respect and care.

Comrie Park Kindergarten has a team of 5 kaiako and a part-time administrator. The kindergarten operates five 6-hour sessions Monday to Friday catering for 40 children between two and six years of age. Comrie Park is an Enviroschools Kindergarten and are committed to environmental sustainability through the programme that they offer.
Northland Kindergarten Association (NKA) is seeking an enthusiastic and capable teacher (kaiako) to join the team at Mairtown Kindergarten, Whangārei. This (0.5) position will commence as soon as possible.
Mairtown Kindergarten kaiako believe that relationships with tamariki should be based on respect and affection and that tamariki learn and develop best when kaiako are responsive and share with tamriki an understanding of the world through engagement and play.
