NKA Head Office - Human Resources Manager

The primary role of the Human Resources (HR) Manager is to employ and sustain a high quality work force throughout Northland Kindergarten Association. This includes the administrative duties required to appoint staff as well as to support Head Office staff with implementation of best practice in line with the relevant employment legislation and the Kindergarten Teachers’ Collective Agreement (KTCA) as applicable.

The successful applicant will posses a deep understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the cultural heritage of Aotearoa.

Ruawai Kindergarten - K1 Teacher (2 positions)

Northland Kindergarten Association (NKA) is seeking a committed and motivated teacher to join the team at Ruawai Kindergarten, Kaipara. This position will commence as soon as possible.

Ruawai Kindergarten has a team of 5 teachers and a part-time administrator. The kindergarten operates five 6-hour sessions Monday to Friday catering for 40 children between two and six years of age. The kindergarten is situated on the outskirts of Ruawai township and is part of an education hub sitting alongside the local primary and secondary schools. The children who attend this kindergarten come from the wider Kaipara community.

Manaia View Kindergarten - K1 Teacher

Northland Kindergarten Association (NKA) is seeking a passionate, and inspiring Kaiako ready to make a difference in the lives of tamariki and whānau? Manaia View Kindergarten in Raumanga, Whangārei is seeking a teacher to join their team in a full-time K1 position. This position is to start as soon as possible.  

The kindergarten is located within the grounds of Manaia View School and is part of the Raumanga community. They are a place where learning is nurtured through connection – to people, to whenua, and to the aspirations of the community.  

Manaia View Kindergarten caters for 30 children aged 2–6 years, operating Monday to Friday, and is staffed by a team of four kaiako, a part-time administrator, and a cook. The team is committed to creating a warm, respectful, and responsive environment where tamariki are empowered to investigate, explore, and make sense of their world.
