Northland Kindergarten Association (NKA) is seeking an enthusiastic and capable teacher to join the team at Selwyn Park Kindergarten, Dargaville. This position will commence Monday 10 January 2022.

This dedicated team of teachers adhere to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the tikanga practices of te ao Māori which are embedded within their teaching practice and learning environment. Selwyn Park’s philosophy states ‘Ko te mana o tetamaiti te putaki o te rangitira – The strength of the child is the foundation of building leaders’ Whakawhanaungatanga is at the heart of building partnerships with tamariki, whānau and community.

In 2022 Selwyn Park Kindergarten will be operational for 48 weeks per year. This 4 teacher kindergarten operates five 6-hour sessions Monday to Friday catering for 30 children between two and six years of age.

Selwyn Park Kindergarten is part of a network of 25 kindergartens within the NKA. The kindergarten is supported by a professional practice and management team. NKA adheres to the employment conditions as offered in the Kindergarten Teacher, Head Teachers and Senior Teachers Collective Agreement 2019-2022.

Applicants must hold a recognised New Zealand ECE qualification (minimum Dip Teaching ECE),current practicing certificate, first aid certificate and provide evidence of full vaccination status.

Northland Kindergarten Association (NKA) is seeking an enthusiastic and capable teacher to join the team at Anne West Kindergarten, Kaitaia. This point five position will commence on Thursday 13th January 2022.

The dedicated team of teachers adhere to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, where authentic partnerships with parents / whānau and tāmariki is at the heart of their practice. Anne West Kindergarten is part of the Kidscan early childhood initiative which provides tāmariki with healthy meals throughout the day and is a part of the enviro school Kaupapa.

Anne West Kindergarten has a team of 3 teachers, a part-time administrator, and a cook. The kindergarten operates five 6-hour sessions Monday to Friday catering for 30 children between two and six years of age., This kindergarten operates for 48 weeks per year. This 20-hour position will have varying daily hours.

Anne West Kindergarten is part of a network of 25 kindergartens within the NKA. The Kindergarten is supported by a professional practice and management team. NKA adheres to the employment conditions as offered in the Kindergarten Teacher, Head Teachers and Senior Teachers Collective Agreement 2019-2022.

Applicants must hold a recognised New Zealand ECE qualification (minimum Dip Teaching ECE), current practicing certificate and first aid certificate. 2020 ECE Graduate students are also welcome to apply, NKA provides excellent support for registration and mentoring.

Northland Kindergarten Association(NKA) is seeking an experienced and motivated teacher to be part a committed and dedicated team at Comrie Park Kindergarten in Whangarei to commence on Monday 10th January 2022.
