Northland Kindergarten Association (NKA) is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Childhood Education teacher to become part of the teaching team at Dargaville Kindergarten.
Dargaville Kindergarten offers a learning environment where tamariki are encouraged to explore, create, and grow. Guided by the principles of Te Whāriki, they foster a child-led, play-based curriculum that celebrates diversity and supports the holistic development of every child. As an Enviroschool Kindergarten, they are deeply committed to sustainability.
The team of five teachers and a part-time administrator work together to deliver five 6-hour sessions, Monday to Friday, catering to 40 children aged two to six years. Operating under the All-Year Model, they are open 48 weeks per year, ensuring continuity and connection for the kindergarten community.
