For 70 years, Anne West Kindergarten has provided play-based early childhood education for tamariki and whānau in Kaitaia and the wider Muriwhenua community.

Our Programme

Guided by Te Whāriki, our teaching supports children to learn through play, exploration, and meaningful relationships. We value whanaungatanga, creating a welcoming environment where tamariki and whānau feel a strong sense of belonging and connection.

Learning and Environment‍

As an Enviroschools kindergarten, tamariki are encouraged to explore and care for the natural world through hands-on learning and everyday experiences. Through these opportunities, children develop an understanding of kaitiakitanga and their role in caring for their environment and community.
