Hora Hora Kindergarten, Whangarei

 Part Time, Permanent/Fixed Term Position

 If you are an energetic and motivated teacher, and are passionate about being part of a team that provides early childhood education to children from multi-cultural backgrounds. This position is for you.

Hora Hora Kindergarten offers a learning environment which acknowledges the multi-cultural nature of the attending tamariki and their whānau.  It offers a 6 hour session five days a week for children aged between 2 to 6 years of age.

This kindergarten is part of the Northland Kindergarten Association which offers fantastic professional development opportunities, is part of a network of 22 kindergartens and is supported by our professional practice team.

This position involves covering teacher’s lunch breaks (permanent 12.5 hours per week), as well as two hours per day working alongside the teaching team to provide additional support for all attending children (additional 10 hours per week, subject to funding).

To be considered you need a current practising certificate, have a Dip. Teaching (ECE) or higher qualification and hold a current first aid certificate.
