Long Term Relieving K1 Teacher Manaia Kindergarten

Manaia Kindergarten, Kiteone Road, Parua Bay, Whangarei Heads. This three teacher all day model kindergarten operates Monday to Friday with a roll of 30.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic teacher to be part of an established and dedicated team of teachers in coastal Northland. Manaia kindergarten is proud of its inspired curriculum where children take proud ownership of the kindergarten and play a key role in determining the programme. Manaia kindergarten are dedicated to sustainable practices and have recently reflected for Bronze in their Enviroschool journey. This is a maternity leave position for one year.

To be considered as a teacher for NKA, you need a current practising certificate, have a Dip. Teaching (ECE) or higher qualification and hold a current first aid certificate.

K2 Head Teacher Forest View Kindergarten

 

Permanent K 2 Head Teacher, Forest View Kindergarten, 215 Kiripaka Road, Tikipunga, Whangarei.

 

Northland Kindergarten Association (NKA) is seeking an experienced and motivated Head Teacher to lead an established team of teachers at Forest View Kindergarten in Whangarei.

 

Forest View Kindergarten has a teaching team of 5 teachers and a part-time administrator. The kindergarten operates five 6-hour sessions Monday to Friday catering for 40 children per session between two and six years of age. Approximately 50 percent of the children enrolled identify as Māori.

Northland Kindergarten Association is seeking applications from qualified experience teachers who have the following attributes:-

  • Is able to demonstrate outstanding leadership, management and mentoring skills
  • Pedagogical leadership and knowledge is a strength
  • Who can bring to life a vision for the future that is shared by the team
  • Is able to establish authentic professional relationships with children, whānau and colleagues
