Raumanga Kindergarten –

Admin Support Staff Vacancy

A vacancy has arisen at the Raumanga Kindergarten, Murdoch Crescent, Whangarei. The kindergarten operates Monday to Friday with a roll of 40. This position will primarily provide Admin Support Staff duties and the role will offer you variety over 20 hours a week with the school holidays off. A high level of ICT skills, a positive attitude and the ability to mix with a wide range of people is required. Applicant to have administrative experience, including data entry using Excel, accounts and finance experience. This position will begin 22 January 2019.

Tikipunga Kindergarten, Whangarei

Lunch Cover (Permanent 10 hours per week) plus

 Additional Teaching Position (Fixed term 10 hours per week)

This four teacher, all day model kindergarten operates Monday to Friday with a roll of 40 in the morning and 30 in the afternoon. Tikipunga Kindergarten’s attending tamariki range from 2 – 6 years of age. Their philosophy is based on whanaungatanga, forming respectful, reciprocal and positive relationships with the attending tamariki and their whānau.

 

NKA seek a permanent teacher who is motivated, fun, energetic and committed to on-going learning.  Skills including excellent communication, team work and proven successful relationships with tamariki, whānau and community are essential in this role. This position will commence Monday 21 January 2019.

This kindergarten is part of the Northland Kindergarten Association which offers fantastic professional development opportunities, is part of a network of 22 kindergartens and is supported by our professional practice team.

This position involves covering teacher’s lunch breaks for two hours a day, as well as two hours working alongside the teaching team to provide additional support for all attending children.

To be considered you need a current practising certificate, have a Dip. Teaching (ECE) or higher qualification and hold a current first aid certificate.

This three teacher, all day model kindergarten operates Monday to Friday with a roll of 30.

Te Kamo Kindergarten’s attending tamariki range from 2 – 6 years of age. The philosophy is based around support for each other, respecting whānau and their cultures, celebrating and acknowledging success, and most importantly to always strive for improved learning outcomes for tamariki. Manaakitanga and Whānaungatanga underpin the daily practices of this kindergarten.
