Northland Kindergarten Association (NKA) is seeking a dynamic teacher to join the team at Bream Bay Kindergarten, Ruakaka. This position will commence 18th January 2021.

 

The Bream Bay teaching team believe that learning is enhanced when children are immersed in an environment which fosters a sense of fun, eager engagement, and curiosity in the learning process.  We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher who is ready to work with the team to achieve this and affirm children’s sense of identity, culture, and self-worth.  If the atmosphere you create is warm, welcoming and calm; your communication style is open, honest and respectful; you are positive and collaborative; and enjoy working with children and whanau, then we are very keen to hear from you.

 

Bream Bay Kindergarten has a team of 4 teachers and part time administrator.  The kindergarten operates five 6-hour sessions Monday to Friday, catering for 40 between two and six years of age.  From January 2021, this kindergarten will be operational for 48 weeks per year.  This 20- hour position will have varying daily hours.

 

Bream Bay Kindergarten is part of a network of 25 kindergartens within the NKA. The Kindergarten is supported by a professional practice and management team. NKA adheres to the employment conditions as offered in the Kindergarten Teacher, Head Teachers and Senior Teachers Collective Agreement 2019-2022.

 

Applicants must hold a recognised New Zealand ECE qualification (minimum Dip Teaching ECE), current practicing certificate and first aid certificate. 2020 ECE Graduate students are also welcome to apply, NKA provides excellent support for registration and mentoring.

Northland Kindergarten Association (NKA) is seeking an enthusiastic and capable teacher to join the team at Selwyn Park Kindergarten, Dargaville from Monday 18th January 2021.

 

This dedicated team of teachers adhere to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the tikanga practices of te ao Māori which are embedded within their teaching practice and learning environment.

Whakawhanaungatanga is at the heart of their philosophy. Teachers value and see the importance of building trustful relationships with whānau and their tamaiti in the Kindergarten and community.

Northland Kindergarten Association (NKA) is seeking an experienced and motivated Teacher to be part of a talented and dedicated team at Comrie Park Kindergarten in Whangarei, to commence on the 2nd February 2021.

RELIEVERS – TRAINED ECE TEACHERS

Whangarei, Kaitaia, Northern Wairoa & Bay of Islands

 

The Northland Kindergarten Association (NKA) invites qualified teachers with a recognised early childhood qualification, minimum Dip. Tch. (ECE) or recognised equivalent, current registration and current first aid certificate. to register as a casual day to day relief teacher.

 

With NKA kindergartens moving to an All Year model where the kindergartens will be open for a minimum of 48 weeks a year, we are seeking additional trained and registered ECE teachers to work as relievers in these kindergartens. This relieving will cover staff on annual/sick leave as well as covering time away for ongoing professional learning.

 

Additional relievers are required in Whangarei and surrounding areas, Kaitaia, Northern Wairoa and the Bay of Islands.
