Northland Kindergarten Association (NKA) is seeking an experienced and motivated teacher to be part a talented and dedicated team at Comrie Park Kindergarten in Whangarei to commence February 2022.

Comrie Park Kindergarten are leaders in sustainable education in Northland. As the first Green Gold Enviroschools Kindergarten north of Auckland, their commitment to sustainable partnerships with community is widely recognized. Comrie Park has an established Ngāhere Programme.

As the 0.5 teacher you will be part of a welcoming and inclusive culture that is reflective of the attending community. You will enjoy working closely with whānau and supporting active children who love the outdoors.

Comrie Park Kindergarten has a team of 3 teachers and a part-time administrator. The kindergarten operates five 6-hour sessions Monday to Friday catering for 40 children between two and six years of age. Comrie Park Kindergarten is part of a network of 25 kindergartens within the NKA. The kindergarten is supported by a professional practice and management team.

Northland Kindergarten Association adheres to the employment conditions as offered in the Kindergarten Teachers, Head Teachers and Senior Teachers Collective Agreement 2019–2022.

Applicants must hold a recognized NZ ECE qualification, current practicing certificate, first aid certificate and provide evidence of full COVID vaccination status.
